What is telemetry?

Telemetry is the automated, continuous stream of measurements from sensors on an asset — vibration, temperature, current, pressure, runtime — transmitted to the platform for trending, alarms and prediction.

Unlike a route reading taken monthly, telemetry gives a live picture: anomalies surface in minutes, and models get the dense data they need for honest predictions instead of sparse snapshots.
