What is OEE?

Overall Equipment Effectiveness — the single score for how well a line really runs.

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) multiplies three factors — availability, performance and quality — into one percentage showing how much of a line's theoretical capacity you're actually getting.

A line running at 85% OEE loses 15% of its potential to stops, slow running and rejects. Tracking OEE by line and shift shows where capacity hides — and whether maintenance work is actually recovering it.
