What is an inspection round?
A scheduled walk of checkpoints — catch the loose, hot, leaking and noisy early.
An inspection round is a repeatable route of checkpoints — gauge readings, visual checks, ultrasonic or thermography points — walked by operators or technicians on a schedule. Findings log against each asset and can raise a work order directly.
Rounds are the human sensor network in TPM and the foundation of autonomous maintenance. Digitised rounds make each reading a data point that trends over time instead of a tick on paper.
