Create and assign work orders
Raise a work order with the detail a technician needs, and route it to the right person.
A work order is a unit of work on an asset — what needs doing, where, by whom and by when. Clear work orders are the difference between a fix and a callback.
- Raise a work order
Assign to a named technician when the job is specific; to a group or shift when whoever is free should pick it up. Unassigned work sits in the backlog until a planner schedules it.
- Assign well
- Priority drives queue order — reserve Critical for production-stopping work.
- Estimated hours feed capacity planning; fill them in when you can.
